Sony’s comparative advantage is in making sensors, so making a camera with bigger sensor than its opponents is a clever move, I think Sony is able to make a 56mm*56mm sensor at a much lower cost than most of the opponents, Sony can beat Canon FF cameras easily in terms of resolution.
MF or may be even LF users will be very happy to know that their good old manual focus lenses can get a new life, and seems MF lenses has much less mounts format than 135 lens. Or may be Sony can even make the new camera to auto-focus with its Alpha lenses?
