Microsoft SyncToy Echo not delete folders and files in the "right" folder after they have been deleted in the "left"

Microsoft SyncToy Echo not delete folders and files in the "right" folder after they have been deleted in the "left"

My experience was that "Echo" FAILED to delete folders AND FILES. The big surprise was the program's failure to delete files (had previously read of the folder bug).

The following work-around led to SychToy working properly in the future for this folder group. I am not positive this is exact, or a direct causal explanation, because it was done some time ago and I tried a few different procedures to make the program work. However, it may be worth a try.

After running a "preview" using "Synchronize" to show me what files and folders SHOULD have been deleted, I deleting the files manually. Then I restored the original "Echo" setting. Then the next time I ran SyncToy using
"Echo" with this particular folder group, it deleted the correct files and folders as it was designed to do. Your results may vary.
